Pearl Diver Cocktails and Oyster take over Rude Boy – Presented by Marionette & Maidenii
Award-winning bartender, Alex Boon, co-owner of Melbourne’s Pearl Diver Cocktails and Oysters (PDCO) is taking over Hobart bar, Rude Boy from June 16-18 in a special collaboration to celebrate friendship and cocktails.
Sitting down with Alex he explains it’s all about making cracking drinks with and having fun with the crew behind the bar.
The teams behind Maidenii, Marionette, PDCO and Rude Boy have been friends and colleagues for many years.
“I received a call from Shaun asking if I wanted to be a part of taking Pearl Diver to Tasmania at Rude Boy and of course, I jumped at the idea,” says Alex Boon. “I love Rude Boy; it’s an amazing bar and I was really excited to share what we do at PDCO there.”
Rude Boy co-owner Rohan Massie adds, “At Rude Boy we have worked with these two amazing brands for a long time. When Nick and Shaun came to us with the opportunity to work with the superstar that is Alex Boon, we couldn’t help but say yes.”
So what do you need to know
From 4-10pm there will be Oyster Po Boys and food by Rude Boy, with Drinks made by Alex Boon.
You can expect tropical cocktails made delicious with Marionette and spritz built with Maidenii.
