Salamanca’s favourite since 1999
A pillar of local history, our beautiful building dates back to 1812, when Salamanca was a thriving sea port. It has played home to several interesting business ventures before becoming Irish Murphy’s in 1999.
Proudly situated at the northern end of Salamanca opposite Parliament House, with its recently renovated large outdoor dining area, it is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and try some world famous Tasmanian produce, all whilst soaking up the unique atmosphere of Salamanca.
We are a contemporary spin on a traditional Irish Pub, focusing on ‘Welcome Home’ hospitality, having the best in local live music and purveyors of great locally-sourced-ingredient food.
