Besides offering a good product in our café food with our famous seafood chowder and garlic prawns, we also offer a unique product in our chocolate coated ice cream range. We also offer an extensive Kids Menu.
The Pondering Frog Café Ice Creamery RV Stop offers the traveller and locals alike a unique experience. We believe in the importance of diversity in a business.
For the caravan/motor home community we have a well spread out area for them to stay and explore the East Coast. Our location is central to many attractions around the area. As we only ask for a donation, many caravaner/motorhomers stay here so that they can spend their money in other parts of the community.
For the traveller we have exemplary restroom facilities, a playground for the kids, friendly goats and an alpaca to provide a feel of rural life. For the locals and the shack owners we provide a place to stop on their way to and from their shack for a coffee, ice cream or snack. They also see us as a great place to come for a family get together – either breakfast or lunch.
Our menu, from breakfast through snacks, to our main meals, is available all day. We also offer, the caravaners in the stop over area, the opportunity to come over for an early dinner. Since we are fully licensed they are able to enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving home.
For visitors to our region we offer a personalised itinerary. In doing this we promote as many of the local businesses as possible
